six fiction books that genuinely rearranged something in me.
i promised i'd share these. so here we are.
six fiction books that genuinely rearranged something in me. the kind that make you put your phone down and stare at the wall for a while afterward.
→ Piranesi by Susanna Clarke – reading it feels like remembering something you never actually lived
→ The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini – the betrayal scene will live in your body for years
→ Circe by Madeline Miller – myth as therapy, basically
→ East of Eden by John Steinbeck – Cain and Abel reorganized how i think about families. genuinely.
→ Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn – yes the twist. but the writing itself is vicious in a way nobody talks about enough.
→ Beloved by Toni Morrison – i don't have words. just read it.
these are not light reads. some carry heavy themes – please look up trigger warnings before starting, especially Beloved and The Kite Runner.
but if you want fiction that changes your wiring instead of just entertaining you for a weekend – start here.
save this so you don't lose it. tag a friend who'd get it. tell me which one wrecked you the most :]
