My first million before 30 was not sexy.
My first million before 30 was not sexy.
It was not “I aligned with abundance.”
It was not passive.
It was not a brand deal and a ring light.
It was a skill.
I found one thing businesses already needed and I got good at it.
For me, that was social media management.
My first full year in business, I made $119,000.
I found 100% of my clients through Facebook groups, LinkedIn, and marketing myself with video.
Year two, we did $260,000.
By then I had one part time VA.
Year three, we were doing $56,000 months and had scaled a bit into an agency.
Year four, we were doing $85,000 months in the agency.
And in the middle of that, people kept asking me to teach them how I was doing what I was doing.
That part matters.
Because a lot of people miss the offer that is sitting right in front of them.
If people keep asking how you did something, there is usually a business model hiding in that question.
So I built education.
I opened a membership.
I opened a mentorship.
The membership generated hundreds of thousands of dollars before I eventually made it free.
The mentorship generated $260,000 in its first year.
So my first million was basically 50% done for you work and 50% courses and education.
And honestly, I think that is the part people need to hear:
I did not start with passive income.
I did not start with scale.
I did not start with teaching.
I started with a useful skill.
Then clients.
Then proof.
Then offers.
Then scale.
That order matters more than people think.
People want to skip straight to the polished version.
But my first million came from doing very practical things, very consistently, for long enough that they stacked.
Today we’ve done over $10 million.
But that first million?
That was built way more simply than the internet makes it sound. #entrepreneur #businessgrowth #freelancing #onlinebusiness #marketing
