💬 “You said no rush, right? Here’s a 2AM text marked urgent.”

What I’ve learned:

The world doesn’t test what you say you stand for.
It tests whether you’ll stay standing when pushed.

My team lives by a rule called Business By Design.
It means: we decide what our boundaries, values, and priorities are before the world decides for us.

One team member of mine doesn’t answer messages after 7pm… ever.

Another once told me she wouldn’t handle managing my personal texts because it didn’t feel comfortable.

I respected her more after that.

When you hold your line, the right people learn how to meet you there.

When you bend it “just this once,” they learn how to walk all over you.

Your job isn’t to be on call 24/7.

It’s to build a business sturdy enough that you never have to be.
