I became a mom young. I was a single mom on welfare.
There were so many years where my life did not look “promising” on paper.
I became a mom young. I was a single mom on welfare. I was struggling deeply in ways a lot of people did not fully see. There were years that felt messy, painful, humbling, and honestly pretty uncertain.
Then there were years where things started changing.
I went to hair school.
I got opportunities.
I got sober.
I built a business.
I went viral.
I replaced my 9 to 5.
My husband did too.
We built, grew, stretched, risked, learned, and kept going.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, there were babies, milestones, success, grief, rebuilding, and a lot of becoming.
That is the part I always want people to know.
A timeline like this can look neat in a video.
It did not feel neat while living it.
It felt like taking one brave step at a time.
One hard decision.
One leap.
One prayer.
One long season.
One fresh start.
So if your life does not make sense yet, or if you feel behind, or if you are in a chapter that feels nothing like the life you want…
Please hear me.
It is not too late to change your whole life. ❤️
Not overnight.
Not without setbacks.
Not without pain.
But little by little, year by year, your story really can become something completely different.
I’m deeply grateful for every chapter.
Even the ones I would not choose again.
They all shaped me.
And if you are in the rebuilding years right now, I hope this reminds you that a hard chapter is not the final chapter. 🫶
