Stop asking: “Do I feel ready yet?” Try this.
You know what’s funny…
The amount of people waiting to feel “ready” before they start building something?
…as if readiness is a prerequisite instead of a side effect.
Like there’s this imaginary finish line called:
✨ healed enough
✨ confident enough
✨ calm enough
✨ not-overthinking-everything-enough
…and THEN you’re allowed to go.
I have never – not once – met someone who built something meaningful who felt ready the whole time.
Not one.
What I HAVE seen though?!
People building businesses while:
their brain is loud
their hands are shaking
they’re second guessing everything
and they still hit “post” anyway
Because the alternative is what?
Waiting 3–5 business years for your personality to stabilize? 😭
We can't do that in real life unless we have MASSIVE support systems (financial or other).
Here’s the shift that actually changes things:
Stop asking:
“Do I feel ready yet?”
Start asking:
“What would this look like if I did it as I am today?”
Not the optimized version of you.
Not the healed final boss version.
You.
Today.
Maybe that looks like:
– posting before you over-edit it into oblivion
– sending the pitch while your hands are slightly shaking
– following up even though your brain is like “they hate you btw”
– building the offer before it feels perfect
That’s the game.
Because confidence doesn’t show up first…
…it shows up after you’ve proven to yourself (again and again) that you can move with the fear instead of negotiating with it.
And if you’re in a season where everything feels louder than usual?
Make the steps smaller.
Not the dream.
You don’t need a whole reinvention arc.
You need one brave, slightly uncomfortable next move.
Do it like that.
Messy counts.
Half-ready counts.
You-on-a-weird-Tuesday counts.
Build anyway.
