Here’s how I’ve found my way out of the fog of doubt.
I’ve been here before, many times.
Here’s how I’ve found my way out of the fog of doubt.
1. Fight fear with facts. Is everything actually going wrong? Or is my mind playing tricks? Take note of everything that IS going right.
2. Ask someone I trust to anchor in truth for me. This can be as simple as saying “Hey, I’m having some doubts today… Can you help me find an anchor in truth?”
3. STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER!!! Go on a walk, take a bath, drink a ton of water – like more than I think I should.
4. Ask for action steps from a mentor that I trust.
5. Journal about my feelings – but don’t attach a meaning to them. Write what I feel, and step back to observe it like an outsider to my own brain (sorry if this sounds super crazy, but I swear it works).
6. Think of 3 small action steps I can complete today to be PROUD of my progress.
7. Get some sleep at night.
