I didn’t see mom bellies like this growing up.

I didn’t see mom bellies like this growing up.
Like… ever.

Not in ads.Not on TV.Not on Instagram unless it was a “how to get rid of it” post.

So when I became a mom and my stomach looked like this after babies, my brain did that fun thing where it goes:
“Oh. Cool. So I’m the only one??” 🙃

Except I’m not.
And you’re not.

Most moms with “mom stomachs” just hide them.
We tuck them into high-waisted jeans. We angle our bodies away from the camera. We hold babies in front of them.We learn how to suck in without even thinking.

And then we scroll a highlight reel of other people’s bodies and wonder what’s wrong with ours.
Spoiler: nothing is wrong. The reel is just filtered.

This is what real postpartum looks like sometimes:no flat abs, no six-pack, just a belly that’s softer now…
and a core that is still strong enough to carry kids, haul groceries, and basically keep a whole human civilization alive.

If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and thought:“I should be past this by now.”“I shouldn’t still look pregnant.”“I need to fix this before I can feel confident.”

Hey. Come here.

You don’t need to earn your worth back.
You don’t need to hide the evidence of what your body did.

Your mom tummy is normal.
Loose skin is normal.
Stretch marks are normal.
A belly that changed after birth (or life or weight gain) is normal.

And you deserve to be seen right now, not “after.”
If this hit, tell me you’re here.
Drop a “YESSSSS” so another mom reads it and exhales tonight. And feel free to share this with another mom friend.
